Every neurotoxin treatment begins with a full facial assessment. We look at your face at rest and in motion—how your muscles move when you smile, laugh, frown, or raise your eyebrows, and where expression lines appear. We consider your facial anatomy, muscle strength, previous treatments, and aesthetic goals before determining the appropriate treatment plan. Sometimes the best approach is a comprehensive treatment. Other times, a few carefully selected areas or a targeted touch-up can achieve the result you want.

For appropriate patients, preventative or early neurotoxin treatment can reduce excessive muscle activity before expression lines become more deeply established. The goal is not to stop you from expressing yourself. It is to strategically soften the muscle activity that contributes to unwanted lines while maintaining natural facial expression.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A neurotoxin appointment is typically quick, with treatment often taking approximately 15 minutes, depending on the areas being treated.
The injections are generally well tolerated, and there is typically little to no downtime. Mild redness, tenderness, small bumps, or bruising can occur at the injection sites. Most patients return to their normal activities immediately.
Results develop gradually rather than appearing instantly. Initial effects may become noticeable within several days, with the full effect generally assessed around 10–14 days after treatment.
Results are temporary and commonly last approximately 3–4 months, although duration varies depending on the product used, treatment area, muscle activity, and individual response.
